Heather Mays

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Heather graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Red River Collage in 2012. She chose veterinary medicine as a career path because of her love of animals, especially dogs. She grew up with three golden retrievers and now has one of her own named Ripley.

Heather has a special interest in client education. She loves to talk with owners and interact with their pets. Helping an owner to understand a certain medical condition or behavior and therefore helping the pet to have a happy and healthy life is a very rewarding part of the job for Heather.

Since joining the team at Catrysse, Heather has enjoyed getting to know the clients and their pets. The best part of the job is forming relationships with the families and knowing we are making a positive difference in their lives.

When Heather is not at work or at the dog park with Ripley, she likes to play baseball and go camping. Anything outside in the summer and Heather is up for it! Can we fast forward through winter?!
