X-ray and Ultrasound

Radiography is painless, very safe, and non-invasive, and it can sometimes be performed during a visit while you wait. Radiography is useful for evaluating the bones and the size, shape, and position of internal organs. We are proud to offer our clients digital x-rays and digital dental-x rays services. It allows us access to higher quality images in a fraction of the time. It also gives us a more accurate diagnosis for your dog while limiting their exposure to radiation. In addition, we offer ultrasound exams that allow us to examine your pet’s internal organs and may provide different/more details than an X-ray.

How do you use X-ray and radiology services at your hospital?

One of the most common and valuable medical diagnostic tools is radiography or X-rays. X-rays are highly useful for screening areas of the body that have contrasting tissue densities or when evaluating solid tissues. Our hospital is equipped to perform routine radiology services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer trauma. X-rays can be used to detect a variety of ailments including arthritis, tumours, and lung abnormalities including pneumonia, and bladder and kidney stones. They are also used to evaluate bone damage, organ integrity and identify foreign objects that may have been ingested.

How much does a dog X-ray exam cost?
