Radiography is painless, very safe, and non-invasive, and it can sometimes be performed during a visit while you wait. Radiography is useful for evaluating the bones and the size, shape, and position of internal organs. Catrysse Veterinary Services is proud to offer our clients digital x-rays and digital dental-x rays services. It allows us access to higher quality images in a fraction of the time. It also gives us a more accurate diagnosis for your dog while limiting his/her exposure to radiation. In addition, we offer ultrasound exam that allow us to examine your pet’s internal organs and may provide different/more details then an x-ray is able to provide.
How do you use X-ray and radiology services at your hospital?
One of the most common and valuable medical diagnostic tools is radiography or x-rays. X-rays are highly useful for screening areas of the body that have contrasting tissue densities or when evaluating solid tissues. Our hospital is equipped to perform routine radiology services to identify many types of illness or injury when pets are sick or suffer trauma. X-rays can be used to detect a variety of ailments including arthritis, tumours, and lung abnormalities including pneumonia, bladder and kidney stones. They are also used to evaluate bone damage, organ integrity and identify foreign objects that may have been ingested.
How much does a dog X-ray exam cost?

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 11, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.

This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
